TRIsol KCP Key Benefits and Functions
According to TRI-K, TRIsol KCP's (INCI: Potassium Cetyl Phosphate) key functions in sun, color and skin care formulas include:
- Boosting SPF levels by up to 19% and delivering "unmatched" stability in mineral sunscreens and high-SPF products;
- Reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and enhancing the skin's barrier function;
- Increasing the perception of hydration in skin care applications by 2X;
- Ensuring vibrant, stable pigmentation and enabling bold and lasting effects in high-pigment color cosmetics;
- Significantly improving the color of SPF products;
- Supporting the development of rich, emollient formulations; and
